The BMX drivetrain kit provides a significant advantage for young riders. Indeed, the SPCK drivetrain improves lap times by at least 2.4 to 2.8%. Furthermore, it simplifies learning starts and manuals. Currently, it remains the lightest on the market.

The SPCK chain weighs only 140 g/m, making it the lightest bike chain available. Additionally, its reduced pitch decreases:

• the total length of the chain,
• the diameter of the chainring,
• the diameter of the cog.

As a result, the SPCK chain kit reduces weight by 140 to 380 g compared to a traditional drivetrain. For instance, converting a 38×16 drivetrain with a semi-lightened chain cuts 225 g. By comparison, this weight reduction is similar to swapping a steel fork for a carbon version, but at a much lower cost.

The weight reduction and increased number of teeth minimize vibrations. Consequently, it operates similarly to a belt but without the drawbacks. Thus, riders experience less effort with the same gear ratio, improving mechanical efficiency.

The lower tooth height decreases the risk of injury and protects clothing. Moreover, the compact design enhances safety. In addition, the shorter pitch allows precise rear-wheel positioning adjustments.

Rotating masses decrease during pedaling, further improving performance. The 7075 aluminum chainrings and cogs, 71% stronger than 6061, are machined from solid material and feature hard anodization for increased durability.

The SPCK chain kit fits BMX Race bikes up to Expert size, supporting a weight limit of 45 kg. At the same time, the SPCK chain achieves an adult-equivalent lifespan when used in BMX Racing. It balances performance with durability.

The chain tension requires attention, however, when correctly adjusted, it remains reliable even in extreme conditions. Finally, the SPCK chain demands a dedicated cog and chainring, making it incompatible with standard drivetrains.
